Lootborne has exactly one official storefront: Steam, at store.steampowered.com/app/4335620/Lootborne/. There is no standalone launcher, no mobile release and no console version.

Price and the launch discount

The store page labels the offer as an introductory offer. Prices differ by region and currency, and this page only verifies the US listing, so check your own regional page before buying.

There are two bundles that include the game, both offering 10% off the pair: one with a game called Master Healer Kale, and one with Oaken Tower. Neither bundle changes the base game.

Platform and languages

Lootborne runs on Windows. The store page lists no macOS and no Linux build.

Thirteen interface languages are supported, each with full audio and subtitles: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Thai, Polish and Turkish. Simplified Chinese is one of the fully supported options, not a partial one.

Steam Deck compatibility is listed as unknown. That is the status the developer has given it, and no rating has been published since.

What works offline and what does not

This is the most useful detail on the page for anyone planning to run the game while working.

• PvE works fully offline. No connection is required to fight, loot or level.
• Stamina applies either way. The store page notes that stamina paces the run whether you are online or not.
• PvP, the Steam Market and leaderboards need a connection. Those are the three online features.

So the desktop-companion use case, a small window grinding next to your real work, survives a dropped connection. Only the social and trading layers stop.

Installing and the first launch

The install itself is a normal Steam install: buy the game, install it to a library, launch it. The game opens as a small window rather than fullscreen, which is the intended shape rather than a display bug.

The one setting worth finding immediately is the always-on-top option, labelled AUTO TOP in the official trailer’s settings panel. Without it, the game window will sit behind whatever you are actually working in.

The official roadmap was published on 22 September 2026, the day after launch. It is explicit that the list is aspirational and not in release order. The items named are:

• Playable races, described as races with their own identities that affect your build.
• Ultimate skills, a new ability layer for the champion.
• Item upgrades, so a favourite item can be invested in rather than replaced.
• Transmogrification, to change appearance without losing stats.
• More items, enemies and entirely new sectors.
• Co-op PvE, so players can fight stronger enemies together.
• Multiplayer PvP arenas, including 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4.
• Collectible curiosities that exist purely to be found.
• Pets, described only as “more on this later”.

Read that list as intent. Nothing on it has a date, and the post says the developer will keep adjusting priorities.
